HOW IT STARTED

In 2002, Sticky opened Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats in Washington, D.C., one of the first fully vegan bakeries in the country. The goal was simple: make desserts so good that no one cared they were plant based.

And it worked. People lined up for cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and comfort classics that tasted just like the originals, only better. Word spread fast, and Sticky Fingers became a must-visit bakery for locals, tourists, and dessert skeptics alike.

We Won Cupcake Wars (Twice!)

Sticky’s baking didn’t just win over customers. It caught the attention of the Food Network too. Sticky competed on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and won. Then she went back and won again. Two time champion. No dairy. No eggs. No compromise.Those wins helped prove what Sticky had always believed. Plant-based desserts can go head to head with anything out there and win on taste alone.

  • 2024 - BAKED BY STICKY WAS BORN

    Sticky decided D.C. wasn’t enough. The nation needed these desserts. And just like that, Baked by Sticky came to life — bringing Sticky’s nostalgic, better-for-you treats beyond the bakery case.

  • 2025 - LAUNCHED A PROTEIN LINE

    Baked by Sticky introduced one of the market’s only dairy-free, egg-free, soft-baked protein dessert lines — crafted in collaboration with JUST ONE’s single-ingredient protein powder.

  • NOW - RAPIDLY GROWING!
